Public Library cardholders in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada have access to more than 3,500 courses and approximately 144,000 video tutorials on the an online learning platform, Lynda.com.
All you need to do is follow this link, then login with your library card number and your library account password.
I get free access to Lynda.com (now called LinkedIn Learning) content as a Microsoft MVP. It is an incredible resource as the video courses are taught by industry experts.
This offer has been around since 2017 so get in there and learn something new for free before this amazing resource is no longer available (no word on it being phased out from what I can see, but nothing good lasts forever).
If you have the discipline to invest in self-directed training, this resource is a fantastic way to get a taste of a variety of topics from business skills to technology to the creative arts.
