Cloud Migration

Move to the Cloud Without the Disruption

Moving workloads to the cloud should make your business more capable, not more stressed. Regroove specializes in Microsoft to Microsoft migrations, handling the complexity of moving email, files, servers, and identities so your team stays productive throughout the entire process. We plan carefully, move in stages, and stay with you through go-live.

What Sets a Good Migration Apart

Cloud migrations fail when they are treated as purely technical projects. The organizations that migrate successfully plan for the people as much as the technology.

Zero-Downtime Migration Planning

A migration that takes your business offline is not a migration, it is a crisis. We build every migration plan around keeping your team productive throughout the transition. Staged approaches, rollback strategies, and cutover windows that work for your schedule.

Microsoft to Microsoft Expertise

Whether you are moving from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online, from file servers to SharePoint and OneDrive, or from a local Active Directory to Azure AD, we know every step of the Microsoft migration path and the common places where things go wrong.

Data Integrity Guaranteed

Every migration we run includes pre-migration auditing, checksum verification during transfer, and post-migration validation. We do not sign off on a migration until we have confirmed that everything landed where it was supposed to, intact.

Hybrid Environment Support

Not everything moves to the cloud at once, and not everything should. We design hybrid environments that let your cloud and on-premises systems coexist cleanly, with a clear path for what moves next and when.

User Communication and Training

The biggest source of friction in any migration is not technical. It is people who show up on Monday and cannot find their files or figure out the new interface. We build communication and training into every migration so users know what is changing and when.

Post-Migration Support Included

The first few weeks after a migration are when issues surface. We stay involved through a hypercare period after go-live to catch anything unexpected, answer questions, and make sure your team settles in without lingering problems.

How We Approach Every Migration

A structured process that puts planning first, moves in controlled stages, and does not call a migration done until your team is fully operational in the new environment.

01

Discovery and Inventory

Before a single workload moves, we take a full inventory of your environment. That includes servers, data volumes, user accounts, applications, dependencies, and any compliance or retention requirements that affect how data needs to be handled.

02

Migration Plan and Timeline

We produce a detailed migration plan that defines what moves, when it moves, who is affected, and what the rollback procedure is if something does not go as expected. Nothing starts until you have reviewed and approved this plan.

03

Pilot Migration

We start with a small group of users or a subset of data to validate the migration process before touching the full environment. This surfaces any unexpected issues in a controlled way with minimal business impact.

04

Staged Full Migration

With the pilot validated, we move the rest of the environment in stages. Staging lets us maintain business continuity throughout the migration rather than creating a single high-risk cutover event.

05

Validation and Testing

After each stage, we validate that data is intact, applications are functioning, and users can access what they need. We do not proceed to the next stage until the current one is confirmed clean.

06

Cutover and Hypercare Support

Final cutover is coordinated to minimize impact. We support your team through the transition day and remain available for an agreed hypercare period afterward to resolve any post-migration issues quickly.

Common Questions

Will users experience downtime during a migration?

In most cases, no. We plan migrations around keeping users productive throughout the process. For workloads where some access disruption is unavoidable, we schedule those windows at low-traffic times and communicate clearly with users well in advance.

Can you migrate from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365?

Yes. While our deepest expertise is in Microsoft to Microsoft migrations, we handle cross-platform migrations from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 regularly. This includes Gmail to Exchange Online, Google Drive to SharePoint and OneDrive, and Google Meet to Teams.

How long does a typical cloud migration take?

It depends on the size and complexity of your environment. A straightforward Microsoft 365 email and file migration for a 50-person organization might take four to six weeks from planning to go-live. More complex environments with on-premises servers, custom applications, or large data volumes can take several months. We scope the timeline clearly at the outset.

What happens to our data during migration?

Your data is audited before the move, verified during transfer, and validated after landing. We run the source and destination environments in parallel during the migration period so nothing is removed from the source until the destination is confirmed clean. You are never in a position where your data is only in one place during an active transfer.
