If you don’t know your username on your PC, here’s an easy way to find out:
To find out your username:
- Open up Windows Explorer.
- Place your cursor in the file path field. Delete the “This PC” and replace it with ” C:\Users\”.
- Now you can see a list of user profiles, and find the one related to you:
C:\Users\”Username”\
For example, mine is: C:\Users\kmarshall\
Note: These screenshots are from a machine running Windows 8.1.
You say “Place your cursor in the file path field” obviously assuming we all know what file path feild is. If people dont know how to access the username then they probably dont have much knowledge of computers. WTF is a file path field?. Absolute useless
