If you are like me and prefer the OneNote desktop client over the “built in” Windows 10 App then keep reading.
Simply put MicroSoft will no longer be developing new features for OneNote 2016 and it will NOT be available as a desktop client in Office 2019 or newer versions of Office Pro Plus (office 365)
So if you have recently upgraded to Office 2019 or installed a newer version of Office Pro Plus you will no longer have the OneNote desktop client. Sad face 🙁
But…! You can however, download and install the 2016 version and all will be right in the world again. Happier face 🙂
