A clear example of Microsoft’s commitment to providing the user with ample screen real estate in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Fall ’13 is illustrated beautifully by how it tucks away functionality.
Another new feature that demonstrates this is the ability to see a series of Recently Viewed items with the click of a button. Especially useful for the busy salesperson with an extensive list of leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities to manage, this feature allows you to quickly find the information you need to stay productive and efficient.
Note: Since the use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online was a very recent addition to our arsenal of tools in our organization, coupled with the fact that we were uncertain how the upgrade would affect our data, there is very little data in the system to demonstrate the power of the system at this time.
Therefore you can see that my screenshot (above) only has one Recently Viewed Lead. As interaction occurs with additional Leads, additional icons appear in the Recently Viewed menu – the most recent always staying on the far left.
I look forward to using this new feature in the future when a Contact calls unexpectedly. Instead of having to drill down and search for a name, I can likely find their info in less than three clicks. You know how I love my timesavers.
What timesavers are you most excited about in the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Fall ’13 interface?
