This week we have added the Swag Store to our Gallery. itgroove created this solution for a business that had multiple people in different departments purchasing company “swag” (shirts, pens and other branded goodies). Their process was admittedly clunky; employees would place orders either in person or through email, leaving the manager of these goods digging through their email to find records of those transactions.
So the Swag Store was born. This solution uses lists, workflows, and display templates to create a user-friendly “Store” to manage inventory and records. The look and feel are just like most online stores, which makes the experience familiar to users. On the back end, the Store Manager can update inventory keep track of orders that have been placed, paid, and processed through their very own dashboard.
