Stumbled across this today via Google Images and I couldn’t resist posting it on here. One frustration I have (like many others) is the insistence with many customers (particularly in SMB) who buy technology before mapping out what they are trying to accomplish. Often, we, as an IT service company are left trying to piece together a working solution for a customer that has already bought a device that is not suitable for the job.
Business Requirements are Important. Or as the old saying goes, “don’t put the cart, before the horse”. Someone, somewhere, had actually drawn this out, on a whiteboard to illustrate the point and I felt the need to share it (and plagiarize it, as I know I’ll use this image again, I’m storing it here 🙂
