Remote Mobile Device Wipe in Office 365
Today I had to remotely wipe the email and sync partnership from a users phone. This is an easy thing to do in the Office 365 admin center. Select the user then Edit the Exchange properties.
From there go to mailbox features and go View details.
From here you can wipe the phone remotely and even view lots of details about the phone itself.
Once the wipe is complete the user will receive an email with the details also mentioning that the mobile device will continue wiping data If it tried to sync again until the partnership is removed.
The status will also change to successful when complete.
You can then block or delete the phone partnership to complete the removal.
