Now’s your chance to have Microsoft move your O365 Exchange, Skype, CRM and SharePoint Online data at rest to the new Canadian Data Centers:
itgroove has been watching this for a while now: September 2013; June 2015; June 2015; May 2016; May 2016. So we’ve decided to take the leap to better serve our clients and help you through the process.
Save the Date!
You have until October 31, 2016 to start the free move if you’re interested. After that date the only way to take control of your data residency / sovereignty will be to spin up a new tenancy and pay for your own migration project.
If you choose the free move, then Microsoft will do the work for you within the next two years. If you need it sooner you also have the choice to spin up a new tenancy after November 1, 2016 in the Canadian Data Centres (if Canada is your country of sign up eh) and run your own project to migrate your existing Office 365 data.
For more information check out the Data move general FAQs and contact us if you’d like help with the planning.
