This blog was ultimately named for Samantha, our purebred Beagle , who has been my partner in crime for the last 15 1/2 years. Sam has featured in posts on my blog as well as posts I created for other entities including the European SharePoint Conference and the Office “Small Business Hacks” blog. She often snuggled up to me on the couch as I pecked out a post in LiveWriter and would “remind” me that tummy rubs and walks are much more important than anything I could say out in the ether.
Sadly, Sam ended her run earlier this week with that final trip to the Vet that all pet owners dread. She had a great life and a gentle passing and her “Daddy” misses her more than words could ever say. I miss her deeply but am so thankful that I had the pleasure of her presence (and her cuddles) for as long as I did.
So, goodbye Baby Girl. Thank you for being the sweet girl that you were and for all the love you gave your family and friends. You will always be in my heart.
Good bye Sam, we will miss you. But I am sure we will feel your lovely presence through this blog!
