Our AD Administrator account password expired in our CloudShare SharePoint environment and I was forced to change it (on one server). Of course, we have 3 servers in our environment and the other servers started to freak out that their credentials were incorrect. As it turns out, there’s an easy way to train your CloudShare environment what your new password is. Simply go into “Edit users & access” under “Edit Environment”.
In there, click on “Manage Users” – you should be able to manage both local and AD users from any machine, in our case, we want to edit an AD account.
Ensure you’re editing the users in your domain (not the local machine user).
This is an important note, you MUST first change this user account in one of the machines (like I had already done).
Now that you’ve got the right account, click on Edit.
Finally, change your password here to match what you changed the password to earlier on in your machine. As always, make it “strong like bull”.
You should be all good to go now that you’ve convinced CloudShare that everything is ok again.
