{"id":811,"date":"2017-08-17T16:32:05","date_gmt":"2017-08-17T16:32:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/regroove.ca\/stellark\/?p=811"},"modified":"2023-02-24T18:40:56","modified_gmt":"2023-02-24T18:40:56","slug":"sharepoint-libraries-not-syncing-after-onedrive-for-business-upgrade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/regroove.ca\/stellark\/2017\/08\/17\/sharepoint-libraries-not-syncing-after-onedrive-for-business-upgrade\/","title":{"rendered":"SharePoint Libraries NOT syncing after OneDrive for Business upgrade"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>What?<\/h3>\n<p>You just upgraded your OneDrive for Business client to the latest version.&nbsp; Nice!&nbsp; But now when you try to sync your pre-existing SharePoint libraries you can&#8217;t.&nbsp; Sad face&#8230;&nbsp; And you get this really, really helpful message box (sarcasm) that says you need to update to the latest version of OneDrive for Business.&nbsp; What!!<\/p>\n<h3>So What?<\/h3>\n<p>So believing that maybe you don&#8217;t in fact have the latest client you follow the really helpful MS message box and set about to install the latest OneDrive for Business client.&nbsp; You feel good, you test SharePoint library sync and Bam!&nbsp; It still doesn&#8217;t work&#8230; Sad face&#8230;<\/p>\n<h3>Now What?<\/h3>\n<p>Well here&#8217;s the thing.&nbsp; The message box is NOT helpful nor correct.&nbsp; To correct this odd behavior you actually need to go into the SharePoint admin console -&gt; Settings &nbsp;in Office 365 and turn on SharePoint library sync to work with the New OneDrive for Business client.&nbsp; Issue solved!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/regroove.ca\/stellark\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/08\/SPSync.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-812\" src=\"https:\/\/regroove.ca\/stellark\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/08\/SPSync-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"422\" height=\"283\" srcset=\"https:\/\/regroove.ca\/stellark\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/08\/SPSync-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/regroove.ca\/stellark\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/08\/SPSync-1024x687.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/regroove.ca\/stellark\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/08\/SPSync-768x515.jpg 768w, https:\/\/regroove.ca\/stellark\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/08\/SPSync-1536x1030.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/regroove.ca\/stellark\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2017\/08\/SPSync.jpg 2013w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 422px) 100vw, 422px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What?
