This should be configured first. Log out then back in once added to this group.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> The change can take time to update. In the unlikely event that a user reaches this quota, a call to Office 365 support is required. Administrators can\u2019t increase or decrease this quota.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">More <a href=\"http:\/\/technet.microsoft.com\/en-us\/library\/exchange-online-limits.aspx\">Here<\/a><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Recoverable Items Folder Storage Quotas<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; (call to MS Office Datacenter)<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">When a mailbox is on litigation hold none of the items in the Recoverable Items folder are permanently deleted. This makes it possible to reach or exceed the 30 GB quota for the Recoverable Items folder. Office 365 is currently \u201cin development\u201d of increasing this size from 30G to 100G.&nbsp; You can view this info and more on the <a href=\"http:\/\/office.microsoft.com\/en-us\/products\/office-365-roadmap-FX104343353.aspx\">Office 365 Roadmap<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">More <a href=\"http:\/\/help.outlook.com\/en-us\/140\/hh125820.aspx\">Here<\/a><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">InActive Mailboxes when a User is Deleted<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">By default when a user is deleted from Office 365 their corresponding mailbox (if present) is eradicated as well after a recovery period of 30 days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>Exchange Online makes it possible for you to preserve the contents of deleted mailboxes indefinitely<\/em>. This feature is called <em>inactive mailboxes<\/em>. A mailbox becomes inactive when an In-Place Hold is placed on the mailbox before the corresponding Office 365 user account is deleted. The contents of an inactive mailbox are preserved indefinitely. This allows administrators, compliance officers, or records managers to use the In-Place eDiscovery feature in Exchange Online to access and search the contents of an inactive mailbox. Inactive mailboxes can&#8217;t receive email and aren&#8217;t displayed in your organization&#8217;s shared address book or other lists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">If a hold isn&#8217;t placed on a mailbox before it&#8217;s deleted, the contents of the mailbox won&#8217;t be preserved or discoverable.
