How to add the NAVO extension to Microsoft Edge

To add the NAVO extension to Microsoft Edge you will need to configure a Device Configuration profile in End Point Manager (formerly known as Intune)

This Microsoft article describes how to configure the required Device Configuration profile using the Administrative Templates option.

During the “configuration” step of the profile creation select “User Configuration” and type “Control which” into the search bar. Choose “Control which extensions are installed silently”

Select “enabled” and add the NAVO extension followed by the URL indicated in the example provided.

  • NAVO extension
    • Baodfofnkldapapdcjiifnmdijkcgmmk
  • URL
    • ;https://edge.microsoft.com/extensionwebstorebase/v1/crx abcdefghijklmnopabcdefghijklmnop

At the “Assignments” section select the group you wish to assign the profile to, review the profile settings then save.

NAVO will be silently deployed and installed as an extension in the users’ Edge browser once the configuration profile has been synced from Endpoint Manager.

When the sync has occurred the NAVO extension will appear in Microsoft Edge browser. You can click on this button to create an account or login with an existing one.

If you are new to NAVO and would like more information on what this particular extension can do, please see this helpful article from the Microsoft Edge Add-ons site.

Enjoy!
