{"id":1547,"date":"2016-06-23T10:29:23","date_gmt":"2016-06-23T17:29:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/itgroove.net\/oh365eh\/?p=1547"},"modified":"2023-02-24T20:34:40","modified_gmt":"2023-02-24T20:34:40","slug":"turn-favourites-bar-edge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/regroove.ca\/oh365eh\/2016\/06\/23\/turn-favourites-bar-edge\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Turn on the Favourites Bar in Edge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When I first starting using Microsoft Edge &#8220;full time&#8221; two weeks ago, I was surprised to not see a few familiar buttons that I use every day in Internet Explorer, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Home button &#8211; <em>answered <a href=\"https:\/\/itgroove.net\/oh365eh\/2016\/06\/23\/turn-home-button-edge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<li>Favourites bar<\/li>\n<li>Tools bar &#8211; <em>answered <a href=\"https:\/\/itgroove.net\/oh365eh\/2016\/06\/23\/turn-tools-bar-edge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Curiosity and a desire to not revert back to my old ways of using Internet Explorer prompted this small Microsoft Edge blog series of my discoveries with working with Microsoft Edge. While on a mission to track down the button to turn on the Tools bar in Edge (as right clicking on the top heading area like you do in Internet Explorer does nothing in Edge), I discovered where the button to turn on the\u00a0Favourites\u00a0Bar lives.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Here&#8217;s how to turn the\u00a0Favourites Bar in Microsoft Edge on:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Edge and click on the ellipse (&#8230;) icon in top right corner.
