The other day a client popped by\u00a0with a question about inserting a file printout in OneNote 2013. He wanted to\u00a0understand why he was getting\u00a0different results when he performed the exact same steps in the exact same order.<\/p>\n

For some PDF files, OneNote would insert\u00a0all the\u00a0printout images on the same page.\u00a0For other PDF files,\u00a0OneNote would\u00a0insert all the printout images on different pages (one printout per page).<\/p>\n

He wanted OneNote to\u00a0insert\u00a0all the\u00a0printout images on the same OneNote page.\u00a0I agreed with his opinion\u00a0that having printouts divided\u00a0onto multiple pages cluttered the layout of his\u00a0Notebook section.<\/p>\n

Made change to Advanced Options for Printouts that “Insert long printouts on multiple pages”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    \n
  1. Click on the File tab in the Ribbon. Select Options.<\/li>\n
  2. In the OneNote Options menu, click on Advanced.<\/li>\n
  3. In the Printouts section, you’ll see an option titled” Insert long printouts on multiple pages” will be selected.<\/li>\n
  4. Uncheck the option and you will now have all printouts inserted on the same page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
