I had experimented with this in the past and it wasn’t awesome at the time.\u00a0 However, it’s working a lot better now, in case anyone is interested.<\/p>\n

WHAT<\/h1>\n

When I’m using my laptop with two connected screens, I’d rather not use the laptop screen. Why? Three screens isn’t 3x better, I just don’t need it and find it distracting most of the time.\u00a0 And I don’t like the difference in resolution when moving stuff around.<\/p>\n

SO WHAT<\/h1>\n

By changing my power profile, I can have it that my screens switch when I close the lid.\u00a0 And as this would only happen when I’m plugged into the Dock, this works very nicely.<\/p>\n

NOW WHAT<\/h1>\n

Just change your power option to “Do Nothing” when you close the lid when plugged in.<\/p>\n
