I\u2019ve had this situation happen a few times and I don\u2019t notice it right away, but in my case the cause was the same each time (Bootcamp for Windows \u2013 yes, I\u2019m currently running Windows on a MAC) but I\u2019ve seen this occur without Bootcamp as well.<\/p>\n

The Problem<\/h1>\n

Whenever you try to edit text within a piece of Office Smart Art, the application will crash, like so:<\/p>\n

Error: Microsoft Word (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) has stopped working<\/span><\/p>\n

The Solution<\/h1>\n

So, the issue is typically that you don\u2019t have a keyboard layout assigned. How does that happen you ask?\u00a0 Well, for the most part it shouldn\u2019t, but Bootcamp doesn\u2019t play by the rules\u2026<\/p>\n
