When you create a new item in SharePoint, as I\u2019m sure you\u2019ve noticed, the \u201c!New\u201d icon appears (in green), like this:<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The default is that this icon appears for 48 hours (2 days).\u00a0 However, if you aren\u2019t happy with the duration, you can change it.<\/p>\n

To get the current duration of the !New icon:<\/p>\n
