I got Exchange wired up with Office Web Apps tonight for previewing supported documents right inside Webmail but had to fight a strange issue. Your mileage may vary but thought I\u2019d share the fix that worked for me\u2026<\/p>\n

Setup<\/h2>\n

Configure Web Apps URL<\/h3>\n

Set-OrganizationConfig -WACDiscoveryEndPoint <\/span><\/strong>https:\/\/owa.itgroove.ca\/hosting\/discovery<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Enable Web Apps Rendering<\/h3>\n

Set-OwaVirtualDirectory “itgca1vm07owa (Default Web Site)” -WacViewingOnPrivateComputersEnabled $true<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

After the above, I was still getting:<\/h2>\n

The WebReady Document Viewing service has been disabled by the administrator for your organization<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

So\u2026 For me, I had to do the following:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Follow this article: http:\/\/technet.microsoft.com\/en-us\/library\/jj150495.aspx<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Then I went into the Exchange ECP and chose Permissions, Outlook Web App Policies<\/li>\n
  3. I modified the Default Policy.\u00a0 I unticked “Webready Document Viewing” from both public and private under “File Access” and clicked Save. I then went back in and chose them again (we want them ticked)<\/li>\n
  4. I stopped and started IIS Admin Service and Web Publishing Service and it all started up fine for me.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Lucky Guess but did the trick \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
