While there are lots of resources out there for getting started on Windows 8 (and goodness knows, there needs to be more \u2013 the product has great potential but so far the usability needs to be \u2018explained\u2019 for users to get started \u2013 thus, er, usability may not be the right word for it\u2026).<\/p>\n

Anyways, I stumbled across this figured I\u2019d share it.<\/p>\n

Windows 8 Tiles Groupings<\/h2>\n

If you like to group your tiles and want to give them a name, you can. Here\u2019s how (and an example).<\/p>\n

Example \u2013 this is my work desktop today<\/h4>\n

Notice the orange arrows.\u00a0 These are group names I\u2019ve defined.<\/p>\n

How to do it<\/h4>\n

Click this little guy (I don\u2019t know its name, nor do I care) in the bottom right corner of your screen<\/p>\n

This will show you your tile groupings, as much smaller tiles.\u00a0 You can then right click on the group to select it and you\u2019ll get the option to \u201cname group\u201d<\/p>\n
