Regroove’s Teams Phone Hardware Recommendations 

When it comes to Teams Phone (Voice) hardware, you may be wondering what equipment you can use to enhance your audio-visual experience. In this blog, we’ll outline a range of products we use in our office for Teams Phone and that we recommend for your organization. 

Here at Regroove, we referred to this tool as ‘Teams Voice’. Microsoft loves to frequently change the names of it’s products and it looks like they will be moving to calling it Teams Phone going forward. In this blog, we will use this interchangeably.

Webcams 

Logitech C930e – $169 

The Logitech C930e is a HD 1080p webcam that delivers high resolution video in almost any Teams Phone environment, no matter the backlight. This is a great option for users that don’t like their laptop camera or who use a desktop computer.  

With a wide 90-degree view, this webcam will make it seem like your meetings are in person! This camera comes with versatile mounting options, meaning it can be mounted on a laptop, a display, or tabletop with an adjustable clip. 

Headsets 

Jabra Evolve MS 75 – $420 

This professional wireless headset claims to boost your productivity and concentration and includes great noise cancellation options for drowning out background noise. The Jabra Evolve MS 75 has been repeatedly ranked highest for voice quality, making it our top choice for your employees’ headset. It’s a staff favourite here at Regroove, and most of our team members use it every day, or to listen to music while they’re working. This is a great piece of Teams Phone hardware.

Poly – Voyager 4210 – $259 

With this Bluetooth office headset, you get superior audio with a great look! Known for its connectivity and freedom to roam multiple devices, the Voyager 4210 will make it easy to work in style. Listening to music between work calls has never been easier. With up to 300ft in device connectivity, this is a great headset option for your employees. 

Poly – Blackwire 8225 – $229 

This moderately priced headset has many flexible and noise cancelling features and comes with Acoustic Fence technology, as well as an on-call indicator. The Poly Blackwire 8225 is a corded headset that has excellent audio reviews to drown out the noise around you. We think this is a good headset choice; however, it has a cable and many prefer wireless options now.  The sound quality of this headset may be be hard to beat, though. 

Poly – Blackwire C3210 – $60 
 

This Poly option is a comfortable design that doesn’t break the bank. With a sleek yet corded design, the Poly Blackwire C3210 is a great option for those not wanting to spend a huge amount on headsets.

Microsoft Teams Rooms: 2-10 people 

Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub Gen2 – $2479 

Built on the Microsoft Teams platform with 8th Gen Intel Core processes, this redesigned and slim Microsoft Teams room display is our top choice! The Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub is scalable depending on your room size and features one-touch meeting start, making it a quick and innovative Teams rooms hub.  

Logitech Meetup Conference Camera – $1200 

This all-in-one conference camera has an ultra-wide lens, which is perfect for smaller rooms. The Logitech Meetup Conference Camera is designed for huddle rooms and other small spaces and comes with a 4K Ultra HD camera and 5X HD zoom, giving you excellent quality Microsoft Teams meetings. With good sound capabilities, this conference camera comes with ‘RightSound’ beamforming mic arrays that capture speech, auto-levels, louder and softer noises, and that also suppresses noise.

Teams Huddle Rooms: 2-3 people 

Logitech ConferenceCam Connect – $700 

This portable bluetooth speakerphone is great for huddle rooms, home offices and use on the go, making it a great allrounder for your group meetings. The Logitech ConferenceCam Connect is super easy to set up, and is compact and mobile, so it does not have to remain in one room. With a 90-degree diagonal field of view, pan and tilt and 4x room, this is a great choice for a smaller meeting room. 

Desk Calling Systems 

Poly Elara 60 – $577 

Best suited for mobile-first collaboration, this desk calling system comes with a Voyager Focus Headset, wireless charging, and dedicated Microsoft Teams Phone Assistant button. The Poly Elara 60 turns individual smartphones into a Teams collaboration experience, but with the functionalities of a desk phone. This device really gives you the best of both worlds and we recommend this as the modern desk calling system. 

Yealink SIP-T56A – Teams Edition – $415 

When you think of an old-school headset, this is likely what comes to mind. The Yealink SIP-T56A is a simple to use smart media phone that gives an enhanced HD audio experience to users. Based on the Android 5.1.1 operating system, the devices feature a seven-inch multi-point touch screen, integrated Wi-Fi, and bluetooth. This is a great all-in-one communications solution for the workplace.
