I find this short list of items handy when creating users and troubleshooting issues with them getting moved\/synced into the cloud.<\/p>\n<p>1. Run DirSync. Make sure the user created in AD appears in the Office 365 admin portal, and the status is <strong>\u201csynced with active directory\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2. Next check the Office 365 Exchange Admin Center, and then locate <strong>recipients<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>contacts<\/strong>. Make sure that the user exists there as a <strong>mail user<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>3. Next try to do the move mailbox to Exchange Online.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/regroove.ca\/archive\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2015\/01\/image-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"padding-top: 0px;padding-left: 0px;margin: 0px;padding-right: 0px;border: 0px\" title=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/kinglou.itgroove.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2015\/01\/image_thumb.png\" alt=\"365\" width=\"158\" height=\"110\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This helps combat the:<\/p>\n<p><em>Error: MigrationRecipientNotFoundException: A recipient wasn\u200e&#8217;t found for &#8220;username@domain.org&#8221; on the target.
