I went into the usual <strong>Programs and Features<\/strong> and went to change to do the repair, but no matter what repair option I tried I got <strong>Error Code: 30029-4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/regroove.ca\/archive\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2014\/05\/SNAGHTMLb07fc10.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"SNAGHTMLb07fc10\" src=\"http:\/\/kinglou.itgroove.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2014\/05\/SNAGHTMLb07fc10_thumb.png\" alt=\"Error Code: 30029-4 when trying to repair an Office 365 Office Install\" width=\"884\" height=\"92\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/regroove.ca\/archive\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2014\/05\/SNAGHTMLb0863e2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"SNAGHTMLb0863e2\" src=\"http:\/\/kinglou.itgroove.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2014\/05\/SNAGHTMLb0863e2_thumb.png\" alt=\"Error Code: 30029-4 when trying to repair an Office 365 Office Install\" width=\"518\" height=\"335\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Running Microsoft update also wouldn\u2019t grab Office Updates due to my install being rather broken at this point. Oddly enough Office still worked for the most part and normally I would of just re-installed at this point, but the user didn\u2019t know his account password.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">What I did was go to <strong>File \u2013&gt; Office Account<\/strong> and then under<strong> Update Options<\/strong> there was a option to <strong>Update Now<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/regroove.ca\/archive\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2014\/05\/SNAGHTMLb0c53f0.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"SNAGHTMLb0c53f0\" src=\"http:\/\/kinglou.itgroove.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2014\/05\/SNAGHTMLb0c53f0_thumb.png\" alt=\"Error Code: 30029-4 when trying to repair an Office 365 Office Install\" width=\"475\" height=\"603\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">This method of updating my Office 365 supplied copy of 2013 worked great and finally updated my copy to the latest version.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/regroove.ca\/archive\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2014\/05\/SNAGHTMLb0defbe.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"SNAGHTMLb0defbe\" src=\"http:\/\/kinglou.itgroove.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2014\/05\/SNAGHTMLb0defbe_thumb.png\" alt=\"SNAGHTMLb0defbe\" width=\"518\" height=\"327\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">I then gave the computer a reboot and the repair options both worked again!<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/regroove.ca\/archive\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2014\/05\/SNAGHTMLb0ea91b.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"SNAGHTMLb0ea91b\" src=\"http:\/\/kinglou.itgroove.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2014\/05\/SNAGHTMLb0ea91b_thumb.png\" alt=\"SNAGHTMLb0ea91b\" width=\"518\" height=\"292\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Error Code: 30029-4 when trying to repair an Office 365 Office Install I ran into an issue where a users install of Microsoft Office Home and Business 2013 (365 version) was acting odd and crashing so I wanted to do a repair.
