Journalists of all stripes have used the notation \u201330\u2014 at the end of an article or \u201cdispatch\u201d (ooo, there\u2019s an older term) to denote that there\u2019s nothing more, it is the end of the article.  Well, I\u2019m using it to mark the end of this blog, at least in its current form.<\/p>\n

After 7 very interesting years with itgroove<\/a> I am moving on to a new opportunity and new challenges so TheBeagle is going to be retired.  It has been a very rewarding experience to maintain this blog, I have \u201cmet\u201d a number of interesting people through comments and questions to posts I\u2019ve made and I\u2019ve even made a friend or two because of the blog (Hi, Shruthi!).  When I first started the blog, with Sean\u2019s encouragement, I was worried that I\u2019d have a hard time finding things to write about.  I need not have worried, so much material just presented itself that I found it easy to post!  I\u2019d encourage anyone who is contemplating blogging to give it a go, it\u2019s pretty rewarding!<\/p>\n

I\u2019d like to thank everyone who took the time to leave a comment or question and I\u2019d also like to thank those who re-blogged content or posted links back to my posts.  The whole point of this exercise was to share knowledge and information so having responses and seeing information being passed on has been very rewarding.<\/p>\n
